Good morning, church family!
I’m sending out my usual midweek check-in a day early so I can offer one last invite to tonight’s Christmas Eve service! We’re starting at 6 p.m. and we’ll be done by 7. This is the perfect opportunity to bring the entire family, neighbors, friends and anyone else who needs some Christmas cheer!
We’ll sing some of our favorite Christmas songs, meet a special guest who will read the Christmas story to us and wrap up the evening with a church-wide, candlelit rendition of “Silent Night.” We’ll even have some special, safe candles for the kids! Hope to see you tonight!
And I pray God’s richest blessings on you as you celebrate Christmas Day and all that it means. Jesus is with us! Merry Christmas!
The Lord your God is in your midst – a warrior bringing victory.
He will create calm with his love;
he will rejoice over you with singing.
Zephaniah 3:17

JAMMIES & JUICE: This Sunday, Dec. 29, our kids are invited to experience church in their pajamas! Wear your favorite PJs and enjoy some juice with breakfast this Sunday morning starting at 9 a.m. in the Clubhouse!
OFFICE HOURS: The church office will not be staffed the rest of this week and next week but will return to regular business hours starting Monday, Jan. 6. The best way to reach Pastor Billy during this time will be though email: billy@woodlandlakescc.com.
YEAR-END GIVING: I’m so thankful for the many generous supporters we have at Woodland Lakes Community Church who know the importance of giving and who obediently and sacrificially practice God’s call to generosity. There is still time to make a donation to the church by cash or check that will be credited toward your 2024 giving record. Simply bring your donation this Sunday, Dec. 29 and drop it in the donation box located at the back of the sanctuary. You may also place your donation in the drop box located in the church office on Dec. 30 and 31. Though church staff won’t be in on those days, the daycare staff can still help you access the donation box in the church office. Thank you!
JUST FOR FUN
Hey, you read Pastor Billy's midweek check-in all the way to the end! As a reward, check out these crazy stories I came across recently:
Oscar Mayer is currently accepting applications for the full-time job of driving their Wienermobile across the country. The pay is a little more than $37,000 per year plus lodging and meals.
I can’t tell if this is crazy or genius, but a woman figured out a… unique way to look at birds. If you try this, please send me a photo!
Only ONE day until Christmas: There’s no time to order online and have it delivered in time for Christmas morning. But no worries. For just $37.95 a month, you can sign up your loved one for the Pickle of the Month Club. That’s the gift that keeps on giving the whole year.
