History
WLCC began in 1936 and was originally called Beulah Church of the Nazarene. The name was later changed to Linwood Church of the Nazarene in order to better identify with the community. The name was changed again in 1999 when the church relocated to the Woodland Lakes addition on the southeast side of Wichita. That is how we came to be Woodland Lakes Community Church; a Church of the Nazarene.
