Membership
We are committed to helping you grow in your faith and find your place here at WLCC. Membership classes are offered on a regular basis and are open to anyone who is 15 years of age or older. In this class we talk about what it means to "Belong to the Family". We provide an overview of what it means to be a Christian, what is the purpose and meaning of baptism, what are our beliefs and practices, and a brief history of the church.
To become a member of WLCC is more than signing a piece of paper. Becoming a member of our church expresses your commitment to this local church as your "church family". In doing so you commit yourself to this local church family in worship, fellowship, service and giving.
We do not believe that church membership is a means of salvation. Becoming a member of WLCC does not assure you of eternal life in heaven. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Church membership is not required for worshipping, serving or taking communion at WLCC. Church membership is a requirement to participate in the annual elections of our church.
