WHAT IS LIFE???
Many people live their entire lives without ever knowing why? They exist year after year with no idea of why they live or of what God's purpose is for their lives. The most basic question we all need to find the answer to is, "What is the meaning/purpose of my life?"
GOD'S PLAN
God loves you with an incredible love. He created you to enjoy a personal relationship with Him. And when we live in that love relationship with God it involves tremendous benefits. Things like love, joy, peace. It brings purpose and meaning to our lives and gives the direction we all long for on the inside. It brings true life that results in freedom, fruitfulness, and fulfillment. God loves you and has an awesome plan for your life!
BAD NEWS
The problem is that man has a natural, selfish desire to control his own life and do his own thing. The Bible calls this attitude sin, and sin destroys our relationship with God and with others. When our relationship with God is broken it causes problems in every area of our lives. There is only one way to deal with the problem of sin.
GOOD NEWS
The solution to the sin problem in life is to become a Christian. To simply enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. And the good news is that becoming a Christian is as simple as A, B, C!
Acknowledge Your Need
+ Recognize that you are a sinner. (Romans 3:23)
+ Recognize that the wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23)
This is not only physical death, but spiritual death = separation from God.
Believe In The Lord Jesus Christ
+ Believe that He loves you. (John 3:16)
+ Believe that He died for you. (Romans 5:8)
Call Out To Him
+ Repent of your sins. (Revelation 3:19)
+ Receive Jesus into your heart by faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
The solution is simple: God's part (grace) + Man's part (faith) = eternal salvation from sin!
The first step in finding the help you need to the trials and tests of life is entering into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Then He will enable you and empower you to overcome the challenges that you face on a daily basis.
A PRAYER TO RECEIVE CHRIST
Dear Jesus, thank you for loving me. I know that I have sinned against you and that my sins have separated me from you. I am sorry for my sin and I need YOU in my life. I want to open the door of my heart and invite YOU to come in right now. Please forgive me for all of my sin and come into my life and be my personal Savior. Dear Lord, begin right now to make me into the person that you want me to be and help me as I begin this new journey in life. Amen!
